Celebrating Two Selah Finalists

Do you want to know a secret? We authors enter dozens of contests and often never final (or place). When one of our books does final, you can imagine how encouraged we are!

The Selah Finalists were announced this week, and I was so encouraged and honored to hear that Watch Your Back is a finalist in the romantic suspense category, and Hold Your Breath is an audiobook finalist. (Sandra Huston did a fabulous job narrating that project!)

Speaking of audiobooks, Watch Your Back is also now available on audiobook, narrated once more by Sandra. I hope you’ll take a listen when you have a chance.

What are the Selah Awards?

The Selah Awards is a contest for published authors hosted by the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference, which happens to be one of my favorite writing conferences. It is highly competitive, and I believe Eva Maria Everson, the contest director, said that this year, the Selahs had over 650 entries!

You can learn more about the contest on the BRMCWC website, where the list of finalists (and eventually winners) will be listed. The winners will be announced at this year’s conference in May.

For now, I hope you’ll join me in congratulating all the finalists and cheering for everyone who entered.

About My Finalists

Hold Your Breath and Watch Your Back are books two and three in my Crossroads Suspense series through Mountain Brook Ink. These books and the first book in the series are all available in paperback, Kindle, Kindle Unlimited, and audiobook formats.

They can be read as standalones, but are best read as a series. Each book follows a different hero and heroine, at least one of whom is from Crossroads Church. The fun part is that the three couples become friends throughout the series. For example, you’ll enjoy seeing the hero/heroine from book one as secondary characters in books two and three.

So … What’s the best way to celebrate with me? Grab a copy of these books or share them with a friend!

Grateful for you,

~ Kristen
