Kristen is an award-winning author and life-long learner. She teaches English online, served in youth ministry for many years, and is an inspirational speaker for schools, churches, and podcasts.
She writes suspenseful fiction from a faith perspective. Her currently published books are for young adults and include a dystopian trilogy, The Rogues. The first book, The Revisionary, received the Selah Award and the Grace Award for Speculative Fiction. The second two books were also Selah finalists. Learn more on her books page.
She is honored to partner with The Blythe Daniel Agency on her new projects, including a romantic suspense novel for women. Also in the works is a new suspense story for teens. On the nonfiction side, her latest project is a spiritual growth book to equip young adults to live for Christ when their world turns upside down.
Common threads throughout her writing, fiction or nonfiction, are to think truthfully, live daringly, and love wholeheartedly. She also blogs on her website, sends out a monthly newsletter, and enjoys guest blogging for others outlets.
Putting her pen aside, she and her husband James enjoy traveling and outdoor adventures. They live in Florida and love sharing their lake home with family and friends.
