About My Novella: Beneath the Crushing Waves

My novella titled “Beneath the Crushing Waves” is part of the Truth volume, releasing July 4.

Here’s what my story is about:

Jenni Battley never imagined moving back in with her parents. To survive single parenting, she returns to Rosemary Beach with her young daughter and takes a summer job at her former high school. Her husband’s death canceled last Christmas, and now, a student drug ring overshadows her school’s Christmas-in-July event. Her bitter heart doesn’t belong near any joy-filled celebration—especially not one at the epicenter of an investigation. Officer Shane Prescott and paramedic Logan Oswald graduated with Jenni, and both keep appearing at the most inopportune times. Can she trust them, or is there a wolf in sheep’s clothing?
