New Release! For Love’s Sake Bible Study

Good things take time, and this Bible study is one of them. Though it’s been several years in the making, I’m beyond excited to share it with you! I’m one of thirty contributors to this project, published through Lighthouse Bible Studies and compiled by Beebe Kauffman. A huge shout-out also goes to my friend and gifted writer Katy Kauffman for her part in making this publication possible.

For Love’s Sake: The Life-Changing Facets of Love in 30 Bible Studies, Devotions, and Christian Living Articles is designed to refresh and challenge our perspective on loving well in the multi-faceted areas of life.

About the Bible Study

Let all that you do be done with love. (1 Corinthians 16:14 NKJV)

Love is a great motivator and energizer. It changes the quality of our thoughts, words, and daily lives. It inspires us to remember empathy, compassion, and understanding. For love’s sake, we get going in the morning and keep moving ahead even in the face of obstacles and challenges.

Love refreshes, warms, and comforts us. It satisfies our hopeful hearts and sets our aspirations high. The wisdom of love downplays the irritations that we receive from others and concentrates on their delights and strengths. Godly love is faithful and constant. It shows up not only in the times when love is welcome and expected, but also in the times when love is needed, essential, or crucial.

For Love’s Sake is a compilation of thirty Bible studies, devotions, and Christian Living articles that focus on the life-changing facets of love. These facets change us from the inside out, brighten our daily lives and relationships, and knit our hearts afresh to God’s. May the insights, strategies, and personal experiences in this book, bless and refresh your soul.

Kristen’s Contribution

My devotional is called “Give and Brake: The Two Sides to Loving Well,” and I wrote it shortly after James and I were married. Over three years later, I still echo a hearty amen to the truth of I Corinthians 13:4-8 that I dive into in this challenge. Like learning to drive, learning to love involves giving and braking. Unlike driving, loving well takes a lifetime of practice.

As excited as I am to share my biblical challenge with readers, I also can’t wait to read the other devotionals too. Release day is today, and I look forward to seeing my copies soon*. You can get your copy here.

What’s the last Bible study or devotional book you enjoyed?
