Gift Ideas for the Book Lover in Your Life
What do you get the book lover in your life for Christmas? Easy. More books.
However, there is no one-size-fits-all in book gifting, and for that reason, I’d like to recap the authors I’ve featured this year. You’ll find a variety of genres and maybe something perfect for your favorite reader (and maybe for yourself).
Young Adult – Speculative Fiction
For young adult and young-at-heart fans of speculative fiction, I recommend these authors. You can learn more about them on their author spotlight interviews, and all books are available on Amazon.
Plus, one of my favorite Christian fantasy authors, Morgan L. Busse, released the final book in her Ravenwood Saga. May I also suggest my dystopian Rogues trilogy for speculative fiction fans?
Young Adult – Other
Does your young adult prefer contemporary settings? In that case, Hope Bolinger might be your next favorite author. I also highly recommend Tessa Emily Hall’s contemporary fiction novels, as well as her latest release: a devotional for teen girls. Learn more about both authors:
Romantic Suspense
For my fellow fans of romantic suspense, these two authors should be on your TBR list. Laura Thomas’ Orphan Beach is a must-read, and fans of the genre should follow Jerusha Agen. She currently offers a free novella on her website, and I am eagerly anticipating her release next year.
Nonfiction
For the nonfiction reader, check out these resources by several ladies whom I greatly respect. You won’t be disappointed.
- Marlene Houk, Hidden in a List
- Ashley L. Jones, Modern Cast Iron
- Susan Neal, 7 Steps to Get Off Sugar and Carbohydrates
These are just a sampling of the wonderful books I’ve read over the past year whose authors I have the privilege of knowing either from in-person meetings or online interactions. I hope you’ve found something that might bless the book lover in your life.
Merry (almost) Christmas!
